I did a little test one night, which confirmed that while there were 5 full AD and 4 full ID Kurzick districts, there was only 1 AD and 1 ID Luxon, neither full. This wasn't during a faction event. The faction lines at the time had the Kurzicks pressed up to their last map, so they were losing badly.
I have a theory now, that whichever side has the fewest players will dominate in the AB's, because they can co-ordinate with the other teams and win more easily, but also because with so many trying on the other side, it's less likely you're going to get a group of 12 who intended from the start to work together. So when you see the kurzick's backed up to their last base, it means that there are few luxons fighting, and they are more likely winning because they have so few poeple there that they can with almost certaitny dictate a group of 12.
I would assume the reverse is true, that when the Luxons are loosing badly, it's more the result of there being fewer Kurzicks trying to play.
The solution is simple enough if I'm right, if you want to play, and the map has swung wildly to one side, go play on the winning side, they're going to be having an easier time getting matches.

Having them not mutually exclusive (so you could play luxon without losing anything), or having 3 factions (which would prevent an inbalance) would fix this, or Forcing people to stay on one side or the other (i bet alot of people want to get the more "valuable" faction). Again, problems with the game design.

I want better feedback than that annoying "No opposing party" message. Maybe if I saw that I was 20th in line and the people in front of me were slowly, but surely, getting in then it would at least seem like I am making progress, even if I'm still waiting. However, I also have issues where occassionally my team seems to cut in line and go immediately without waiting (despite the full districts) and other cases of seemingly getting pushed to the back of the line again and again forcing several /ragequit. Also, I can somewhat easily play both sides of Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood if I really wanted to by simply going there. Why isn't there a way to easily go Kurzick or Luxon for alliance battles (other than the leeching problem that still was never really fixed). It's not feasible for every person/guild to convert to Luxon because of guild/alliance restrictions.

More factions do not alliviate this situation, only enhance it further. This is assuming population imbalance is the only issue occuring here.

Today I was invited as a guest to the luxon side and tried to do some AB there.
Oh boy, there was almost no wait time.
If you have very limited time, and the only thing you care is to get some quick actions, I would suggest you join a luxon guild, or become a guest of a luxon guild at least.

hmmm
its a shame that people who want to play can't.
me personally, i don't care about this event.
AB is a bit of a non starter for me in terms of serouius pvp goes(Flesh golem on monk come on), but its good for a laugh from time to time.
